YOUR ROLE

Our amazing aerospace distribution centre based in Barton under Needwood have an exciting opportunity for dynamic and self motivated Warehouse Operative where you will be part of a successful team who are committed to supporting the logistics and supply chain of this high-profile customer.This is a critical role within the operation and directly contributes towards the efficiency and effectiveness of the team, operation, client and company.

The rotating shift time for this position is 6:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00

This amazing opportunity is offering a salary of £25,187.76 per annum, you will also have the opportunity to earn attendance and site based bonuses should you meet operational KPIs.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

• Unload vehicles, receipt and putaway items
• Pick orders, produce dispatch and carrier paperwork, and ensure it is logged onto the system where necessary
• Load vehicles in accordance with delivery manifests
• Liaise with Team Leaders to ensure work is allocated correctly
• Maintain stock accuracy
• Produce KPI data for Team Leaders

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Proven experience picking and packing, preferably using Warehouse Management Systems (SAP or Oracle)
• Previous experience working in a warehousing or operational environment would be desirable.
• Someone who is a great team player but also able to work alone where required
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines and targets
• Excellent attention to detail.
