Job summary

Hales Group are recruiting a Warehouse Operative for a well-established client based in Eye, Suffolk. This is a full-time, temp ongoing role offering 40+ hours per week, with a supportive team and opportunities for extension.

You will unload deliveries, pick and pack orders, shrink wrap, palletise and assist with general warehouse duties while following health and safety procedures. A full UK driving licence is preferred; weekly pay and holiday accrual are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse is advantageous but not essential.
• Good level of physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling.
• Reliable, hardworking with a positive approach and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries and move stock to designated locations.
• Pick and pack customer orders accurately.
• Shrink wrap products and prepare goods for dispatch.
• Palletise products for storage or transport.
• Support general warehouse operations and follow health & safety standards.
• Work as part of a team to hit daily targets.

Job description

Hales Group are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a well-established client based in Eye, Suffolk. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role, takes pride in their work, and is looking for a full-time position offering 40+ hours per week within a busy and supportive team. You will support the smooth running of warehouse operations, ensuring goods are received, stored and dispatched efficiently.

Location: Eye, Suffolk

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:45pm (40+ hours per week)

Contract: Temporary ongoing assignment with a minimum expected duration of 12 weeks. Permanent opportunities may be available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Unloading deliveries and moving stock to designated warehouse locations
• Picking and packing customer orders accurately
• Shrink wrapping products and preparing goods for dispatch
• Palletising products ready for storage or transportation
• Supporting general warehouse operations
• Following company procedures and health & safety standards
• Working as part of a team to achieve daily targets

To be considered for the role of Warehouse Operative you will need:

• Previous warehouse experience would be advantageous but is not essential
• A good level of physical fitness and ability to undertake manual handling duties
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• A reliable, hardworking and positive approach
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport due to the location of the site
