Job summary

Valeo Foods is hiring a Warehouse Operative for the Gateshead/Snetterton site to support stock accuracy and timely deliveries. You will help load and unload materials, move ingredients to production, and perform stock checks while maintaining a clean, safe warehouse environment.

The role requires a proactive and organized approach, with shifts from Monday to Friday on a 12-hour night schedule. Right-to-work in the UK is a must; base salary shown as £28,559.51 per year.

Qualifications

• Counterbalance forklift license or experience with counterbalance forklift advantageous.
• FLT or Aisle master experience is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help achieve KPI targets on a consistent basis.
• Load and unload supplies and finished goods.
• Distribute ingredients and materials from warehouse to factory.
• Offload and receipt of ingredients and materials to site.
• Stock taking and inventory control.
• Participate in recycling programme.
• Keep warehouse clean and tidy.
• Follow health & safety standards at all times.
• Comply with food safety, quality and legality standards.

Job Description

Salary - £28,559.51 Base.

Shifts available - 2 -10 Monday to Friday, Perm Nights (12 hrs).

Location - Snetterton

Job Purpose

We are looking for a proactive, organised and focused Warehouse Operatives to join our team in Gateshead to help in ensuring all stocks are updated in an accurate and timely manner. To ensure all deliveries are loaded / unloaded timely and safely. To assist and facilitate a seamless supply of materials to the production area.

Key Accountabilities

• To help achieve the KPI targets on a consistent basis
• Loading and unloading of supplies and finished goods.
• Distribution of ingredients & materials from warehouse to factory
• Offloading & receipt of ingredients & materials to site
• Stock taking & inventory control
• Active involvement in the Company’s current recycling programme.
• Ensuring the warehouse environment is kept clean & tidy
• Adhere to H&S standards at all times
• To comply with standards of food safety, quality and legality at all times. Demonstrate commitment by example and elevate any potential issues or concerns.

Qualifications

• Counterbalanceforklift license OR experience using a counterbalance forklift is advantageous.
• FLT or Aisle master
