Job summary

AVARA FOODS LIMITED in Brackley is hiring a Warehouse Operative. You will manage stock, scan orders with WMS, and assist with loading and temperatures checks to ensure quality. Training provided and a shift allowance applies for night hours.

Qualifications

• Good level of English and basic numeracy skills.

• Experience in production/manufacturing is desirable but not essential.
• WMS system used for scanning and stock control.
• Flexible attitude with strong attention to detail.
• Full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products are correctly stacked and wrapped.
• Use WMS to scan product to stock and apply labels to pallets.
• Pick and scan customer orders per specification.
• Take accurate product temperatures and record results.
• Load vehicles and verify orders before loading.
• Scan products onto vehicles in correct order.
• Receive returned product and review paperwork.
• Scan stock takes when required and communicate with dispatch.
• Maintain clear communication with team members.

Working Hours: Middle Shift: Week 1: Monday 13:30 - 22:00 Week 2: Sunday 13:00 - 19:45 Tuesday 13:45 - 22:00 Monday 10:00 - 22:00 Wednesday 13:45 - 22:00 Tuesday 13:45 - 22:00 Thursday 13:45 - 22:00 Wednesday 13:45 - 22:00 Friday 15:15 - 01:30 Thursday 13:45 - 22:00

About the role:

• T's & C's apply
• Ensuring all products are correctly stacked, wrapped
• Using the WMS system to scan product to stock and applying the correct labels to pallets.
• Picking and scanning of customer orders using the WMS system to ensure you are using the correct product and use by dates as per the customer specification.
• Taking accurate product temperatures and recording information to ensure product is within the correct temperature specification.
• Loading of vehicles using the WMS system to ascertain all orders are accurate before loading takes place.
• Scanning product onto the vehicles and loading them in the correct order.
• Receiving returned product, checking the paperwork to ascertain why it has been returned and communicate as required.
• Scanning product for stock takes when required.
• Effectively communicate with other staff in dispatch and production.

• Experience within a production/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
