Job summary

Avara Foods is hiring Production Operatives for the Hereford site. You will join a fast-paced FMCG environment, with full training provided and no prior experience needed. The job offers guaranteed hours, weekly pay, and opportunities for overtime, including a shift allowance and annual leave.

Working hours are 40 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern (05:00-14:00 / 14:00-23:00, Monday to Friday). You’ll be part of a large team delivering quality products for major retailers.

Qualifications

• Good level of English and basic numeracy skills.
• The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively.
• Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks.
• Experience within a production/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Weighing, assembling and packing products ready for despatch.
• Labelling and grading of products.
• Manual handling which can include lifting equipment and products up to 20kg.

About The Role

So you’ll be working in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG factory environment which is noisy and refrigerated in some areas, manufacturing short shelf life products where hygiene standards are critical.
