Job Overview

The principal duties and responsibilities of a Warehouse Operative are to ensure all stock and process-related activities are undertaken in accordance with our practices, procedures, and quality system, without error and safely.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accurate order checking, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods as per procedure and instructions.
2. Goods inward, checking, sorting, entering onto system, and putting away received products.
3. Reporting any discrepancies or problems to line manager/supervisor promptly.
4. Maintaining excellent communication with all relevant departments within the organization.
5. General housekeeping to ensure stock is stored in a safe and clean environment.
6. Stock taking and regular cycle counting.
7. Processing returns from customers.
8. Participating in appropriate training as required.
9. Operating MHE / forklifts (subject to license/training status).
10. Keeping designated areas tidy and clean.

Qualifications & Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience, including goods in, put-away, pick, pack, dispatch, and stock control.
• Good numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Friendly, flexible, and team-oriented attitude.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative.

Additional Information

Working hours are Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:00, with possible weekend or after-hours work. Hands-on experience with warehouse computer systems, especially SAP, is advantageous.
