Job summary

Gap Personnel Limited is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a long-standing client on a temporary-to-permanent basis at their Whitchurch site. You will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, packing products to company standards and ensuring accurate labeling while upholding 5S housekeeping and quality practices.

Own transport is required, and you will report to the Shift Supervisor with duties to meet deadlines and maintain safe production processes.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Good communication skills.
• Reliable transport to commute to work.
• Able to operate in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Pack products to company standards including BRC packaging.
• Ensure all products are labelled correctly.
• Act as a role model for quality standards in daily tasks.
• Maintain housekeeping to 5S standards at all times.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Keep Shift Supervisor informed of production issues.

THE ROLE

We are currently supporting them in recruiting for a warehouse operative to join their team to help support their growing business. You will be working within a fast paced warehouse environment.

Duties:

• Experience of working in a manufacturing environment is preferable, ideally within a faced paced environment in a warehouse or production environment.
• Strong communication
• Dependable and have a reliable mode of transport to commute to work
• Teamwork
• Able to operate in a sometimes-pressurised environment working to deadlines
• To pack product in line with Company standards including BRC Global Standards for packaging
• To ensure all product is labeled correctly
• To act as a role model for quality standards and ensure this is applied through daily activities
• Ensure that housekeeping standards are achieved and maintained at all times to 5S standard
• Maintain effective and appropriate communication with your colleagues at all times
• To keep the Shift Supervisor informed of any problems encountered with Production processes and/or equipment

Hours of work :

Monday - Friday 6am-4pm

Pay :

£12.71 per hour
