Location: Basingstoke (SITE BASED POSITION, MUST BE BASED IN COMMUTABLE DISTANCE TO Basingstoke). Relocations will NOT be considered as the role is temporary.

Job Type: 3 month fixed term contract

We are proud to be working with this well known company, who distribute a range of goods within the medical, scientific and research and development industries.

Due to the nature of the good's you'll be handling, this role will require an exceptional level of care and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work well under pressure.

Job Duties:

• Receiving, unloading, and processing incoming deliveries, checking and inspecting items for quality and accuracy
• Sorting, organising, and storing products in designated areas
• Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently before preparing orders for shipment, including labelling and packaging
• Operating warehouse equipment such as Bendi forklifts
• Maintaining inventory accuracy through regular stock checks and audits
• Ensuring a clean and safe working environment, following health and safety guidelines at all times
• Collaborating with team members and other departments to meet operational goals
• Assisting in resolving any operational issues or discrepancies

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures
• Familiarity with inventory management systems
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
• Understanding of health and safety regulations
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent care and attention to detail

Transport would be beneficial however there are bus stops nearby.

The hours of work are 8.30 - 4.30pm Monday to Friday, with 1 hour lunch.
