Job summary

Pro-Found Recruitment are recruiting a Warehouse Operative to work on the day shift for our client based in Grimethorpe, Barnsley (S72). The role covers picking, loading, quality checks and using hand scanners on a physically demanding site.

Shifts run 7am–3.30pm Mon-Thu and 7am–2.30pm Fri, totaling 39 hours/week. This is a temporary role with potential to become permanent based on performance. Training starts 5 October 2026.

• Previous warehouse/picking experience essential.
• Hard working, reliable and punctual.
• Experience operating hand scanners essential.

Pro-Found Recruitment are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to work on the day shift for our client based in Grimethorpe, Barnsley, S72.

Warehouse Operative Details

Shifts: 7am to 3.30pm Monday to Thursday & Fridays 7am to 2.30pm

Total: 39 hours per week paid weekly

Start dates: Monday 5th October 2026 - please do not apply if you are not available to start on this date or have holidays booked in the next 12 weeks as this is the crucial training period

Pay Rates: £13.50 per hour - rate includes an attendance bonus based on 39 hours worked each week

Contract: Temporary to Permanent based on performance, attendance and client requirement

Location: Grimethorpe, Barnsley, S72Warehouse Operative Duties:

Previous warehouse/picking experience essential

Hard working, reliable and punctual

Machine Operating Experience Preferred

FLT licence or experience preferred but not essential

Experience Of Operating Hand Scanners Essential

Strong attention to detail

Ability to follow instructions

Good work ethic and prepared to learn new skills**Please note this is a very physically demanding role and requires lifting heavy items, pushing a trolley, being on your feet and lots of walking as part of the day to day duties**
