Wolseley UK Limited in Ayr (KA8 9AE) is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join the branch team. You will handle picking and packing, assist customers at the trade counter, respond to enquiries by phone and email, and support local deliveries when needed.

• Experience in a busy warehouse environment.
• Full UK manual driving license is essential.
• Willingness to learn and complete necessary training.

Responsabilidades

• General warehouse duties including picking & packing customer orders, unpacking deliveries, and maintaining branch standards.
• Assisting customers at the trade counter with product recommendations.
• Handling customer enquiries by phone and email promptly and courteously.
• Delivering plumbing and heating supplies to local customers when the main driver is away.

As a Warehouse Operative based in Ayr , you’ll be responsible for:

• General warehouse duties including picking & packing customer orders, unpacking and putting away deliveries which involves manual handling of heavy items e.g. boilers, sinks, radiators, and toilets and ensuring high standards are maintained in the branch
• Assisting customers at the trade counter by identifying their requirements and providing product recommendations
• Dealing with customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude
• Delivering plumbing and heating supplies to our customers in the local area when the main driver is on holiday

This is a full time, permanent role working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday between 08:00am - 5.00pm.

• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn, including the completion of necessary training
• Full UK manual driving license is essential
