Le poste offre une rotation de travail de 4 jours sur, 4 jours off, avec des billets journaliers, ainsi qu'une rémunération compétitive pour le travail de jour et de nuit. We are currently recruiting talented Inspection Warehouse Operatives to join our team in Sevington, Ashford.

Full-time ongoing work on a 4on/4off rota, with both day & night shifts available. Pay rates are £12.81 per hour for days and £14.09 per hour for nights, with overtime paid at 1.5x.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing the day-to-day operational functionality and performance of inspection operations, from off-loading trailers to presentation for inspection and reloading onto trailers.
• Loading and unloading lorries, including manual handling, using roller cages and other MHE.
• Undertaking manual and electronic reporting as required.
• Following instructions from on-site partners to support the inspection process.
• Updating the PINC Yard Management System after training.
• Performing operational tasks to meet departmental and site objectives.
• Maintaining the inspection environment following training.
• Following COSHH awareness procedures after training.
• Assisting drivers in locating bays and supporting them in navigating to bays and offices.
• Promoting a health and safety culture.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in logistics within a large, fast-moving environment.
• Strong experience with warehouse systems.
• Good knowledge of Health & Safety at work.
• Experience working towards targets.
• Intermediate PC skills: Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Understanding of warehouse practices such as picking and loading.

Conditions:

• Shift pattern of 4 days on / 4 days off, 12 hours per day.
• Days and nights available: 6am-6pm / 6pm-6am.
• Weekly or monthly pay options.

To be eligible, you need:

• No unspent convictions and the ability to pass a basic Criminal Record Check/Disclosure (DBS).
• To provide 3 years of referencing contacts and have resided in the UK for the last 5 years.
• The right to work in the UK.
