Job summary

Great Bear is seeking an Operations Support at our Harworth site to ensure smooth day-to-day running of the technical function. The role includes maintenance, monitoring, and collaboration with 3rd parties to optimise performance.

You will provide engineering solutions to support the picking/packing teams, produce weekly equipment status reports, and help drive continuous improvement while adhering to Health and Safety and COMAH regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in planned maintenance and fault finding.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety and COMAH regulations.
• Ability to produce weekly operations reports.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with 3rd parties on external systems.
• Providing engineering solutions to assist in an Operational capacity.
• Monitoring machines and ancillary plant to drive efficiency and reliability.
• Carry out planned maintenance, inspections and complete repairs with little disruption to the Operational schedules.
• Look for opportunities to continuously improve performance.
• Follow set procedures and guidelines with respect to Health and Safety and COMAH Regulations.
• Ensure good working practices and housekeeping are adhered to.
• Providing weekly reports to management team on status of operational equipment.
• Proactively make recommendations regarding the equipment to meet the site operational requirements and future development.
