Job summary

Class 1 Personnel is seeking a Warehouse Operations Processor to join a friendly team in Basildon on a part-time basis. The role covers processing shipments, scanning items, and maintaining accurate records in a busy warehouse environment.

Shifts run Monday to Friday, 4pm–8pm (20 hours per week). A basic DBS check is required due to the nature of the work. You will need to lift shipments and use a computer system to complete daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Process all incoming and outgoing shipments in line with procedures.
• Scan/process shipments in accordance with guidelines.
• Ensure actions are completed quickly and accurately.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail.
• Manual lifting of shipments required.
• Use computer systems to complete tasks.
• Plan and prepare working practices for efficiency.
• Manage day-to-day workload and seek support when needed.
• Keep the warehouse clean and tidy after each shift.

Key Duties for the Warehouse Operations Processor

• Process all incoming and outgoing shipments in line with compliance procedures
• Scan/process shipments in accordance with GSDP checkpoint REF guide
• Ensure all actions are completed quickly and efficiently.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail.
• Manual lifting of shipments is required.
• A computer system will be required to be used during the pursuit of your duties.
• Plan and prepare working practices ensuring maximum efficiency.
• Manage day to day workload and seek support when required.
• Ensure warehouse is left in a clean and tidy condition after end of shift
