Job summary

Vertical Advantage in Kent is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager for the late shift to own outbound and warehouse operations in Paddock Wood. You will lead goods-out, B2B and D2C processes and drive a high-performing team.

You will coach warehouse operatives, forklift drivers and goods-in colleagues, and cultivate a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. The role requires proven leadership in a fast-paced environment, strong organisational and communication skills,

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading teams in fast-paced warehouse or logistics.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Experience managing performance and absence.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Experience with a WMS desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead outbound warehouse operations, ensuring deliveries and stock are processed accurately and within SLA
• Lead, coach and develop a team of warehouse operatives, forklift drivers and goods-in colleagues
• Drive a culture of high performance, accountability, safety and continuous improvement
• Maintain high standards across quality control, stock accuracy and replenishment
• Monitor operational KPIs and identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency and service levels

Warehouse Operations Manager - Late Shift

? Kent | ?c. £55,000 + 10% bonus | ? 5 days out of 7

I’m working with a rapidly scaling fulfilment business, who are looking for a Warehouse Operations Manager to take ownership of their outbound and warehouse operations in Paddock Wood.

This is a key leadership position within the fulfilment function, with responsibility for goods-out, B2B & D2C operations, replenishment and stock movement, alongside leading and developing a high-performing warehouse team.

What will you be doing?
