Job summary

Flexipol Packaging Limited in Haslingden is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead all warehouse, internal logistics, and inventory control activities at our Haslingden site. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods for domestic and export markets.

You will drive safety, quality and operational excellence, develop SOPs, lead staff, optimise layouts and coordinate with 3PLs, ERP/WMS

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse, logistics, or inventory management within manufacturing.
• Proven leadership experience.
• Experience with export logistics and documentation.
• Knowledge of inventory control best practices.
• Experience with ERP or WMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day warehouse and manufacturing logistics operations.
• Maintain accountability for inventory control across all stock categories.
• Oversee stock counts, reconciliations, and corrective actions.
• Optimise inventory to support production.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure material availability.
• Support logistics for compliant and cost-effective distribution.
• Develop and implement SOPs.
• Lead, coach and develop warehouse staff.
• Improve warehouse layout and efficiency.
• Manage third-party logistics providers.
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
