Job summary

Alliance Automotive Logistics in Rotherham is seeking a First Line Manager to oversee Supervisors and their teams, translating strategic goals into practical plans while maintaining operational efficiency.

You will manage daily warehouse operations, monitor KPIs such as pick accuracy, productivity and on-time despatch, and drive continuous improvement through lean methods. Experience in a warehouse/distribution environment and WMS proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and people-management capabilities.
• Experience in warehouse or distribution operations.
• Familiarity with WMS and data interpretation for improvements.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse operations including order picking, packing, inventory control and despatch.
• Oversee Supervisors to organise workloads and meet daily targets.
• Track KPIs (pick accuracy, productivity, on-time despatch) and address underperformance.
• Drive continuous improvement and lean initiatives; ensure SOPs are followed.
