Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Derby invites applications for a Warehouse Controller to support a key client in a fast-paced manufacturing and logistics setting. You will lead a team, manage workloads, and ensure safe, efficient operations that meet high standards.

This Monday–Friday role (07:30–16:00) offers up to £32,026 per year and opportunities to develop leadership skills within a dynamic, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Supervisory or team-lead experience is essential.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
• Experience with SAP or WMS is advantageous.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and IT skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to motivate and develop others.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a team of warehouse operatives, co-ordinating workloads and people management.
• Plan shifts and allocate resources to meet customer requirements and service levels.
• Build strong client relationships and act as a key contact for priorities.
• Monitor performance using KPIs/SLAs and drive continuous improvement.
• Prioritise safety and ensure compliance with CEVA and customer requirements.
• Coordinate material flow and ensure accurate SAP transactions and reporting.
