Job summary

Booker is recruiting for a Warehouse Operations Clerk to join the Warehouse Team. You will handle clerical duties and assist with operational activities, ensuring accurate paperwork and smooth warehouse flow.

You will work closely with Senior Operations Clerks and Team Managers to ensure all team paperwork is completed and goods are received correctly. This is a temporary position ending on 07 May 2027, with responsibilities across communications with warehouse operatives and support for

Qualifications

• Sound numeracy and literacy skills.
• Experience in warehouse chambers advantageous but not essential.
• Flexible and versatile.
• Able to produce quality standard of work.
• Good PC and organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure; health & safety advocate.

Responsibilities

• Complete clerical functions to keep warehouse activity running smoothly.
• Monitor pick and replenishment control screens for Ambient, Tobacco and Frozen.
• Investigate back-picks, suspended-picks and replenishments.
• Process Proof of Delivery paperwork.
• Coordinate with drivers and receipt paperwork.
• Release orders for checking.
• Liaise with goods-in checkers and supply chain.
• Assist in stock counting as required.
• Assist in issuing paperwork and documentation.
• Undertake training as required by the company.
• Perform other duties as necessary to meet business needs.

About the role

We are recruiting for Operations Clerks within our Warehouse Team. As a Warehouse Operations Clerk, you'll be responsible for ensuring the administration of your department is completed as well as supporting the department with any operational activities as required. There will also be times when you will need to support the Warehouse team.

You will work closely with the Senior Operations Clerks, Team Managers to ensure that all paperwork within your team is completed accurately & goods within the warehouse function are received properly.

You will ensure that allWarehouse Operatives are communicated to with relevant information, and support with equipment queries.

This is a temporary cover until 07th May 2027

You will be responsible for

• Completingthe clerical functions necessary to keep physical warehouse activity running smoothly
• Monitoring of pick and replenishment control screens for Ambient, Tobacco and Frozen
• Investigating of back pics, suspended pics and replenishments
• Dealing with Proof of Delivery Paperwork
• Dealing with Drivers and receipt paperwork
• Releasing orders for checking
• Liaising with goods in checkers and supply chain
• Assisting in the counting of stock as required
• Assisting in the issue of any paperwork, documentation as required
• Undergoing any training when required by the Company
• Any other duties as and when necessary to meet the varying demands of the business

You will need
