Job summary

CVH Spirits is seeking a Warehouse Operative to support the safe, efficient handling and distribution of materials and finished goods in our East Kilbride facility.

You will work with SAP/ERP systems, operate FLTs, maintain stock accuracy and contribute to continuous improvement across the supply chain. The role offers progression opportunities within the warehouse and logistics function.

Qualifications

  • Good numeracy skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks in a busy environment.
  • Basic IT skills, including experience using SAP or other ERP platforms.
  • FLT Licence (training can be provided for the right candidate).
  • Experience within a warehouse, logistics or shipping environment.
  • Knowledge of excise compliance and warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe working environment and report all accidents, incidents and near misses.
  • Safely operate FLTs and complete daily equipment checks.
  • Support bottling operations through the supply of dry goods, pallets and materials.
  • Load and unload containers and trailers safely, accurately and efficiently.
  • Pick, marshal and dispatch customer orders in line with operational requirements.
  • Ensure all warehouse transactions and documentation are completed accurately and on time within SAP/ERP systems.
  • Maintain stock accuracy and promptly investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maximise warehouse capacity through effective stock location and space utilisation.
  • Support inventory counts and associated HMRC reporting requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with customs, excise and company procedures.
  • Build effective working relationships with colleagues, customers and third-party drivers.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and supply chain optimisation initiatives.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties required to support the operation.

Job description
