Job summary

Jabil is seeking a warehouse operative in the United Kingdom to support the transit of received product, ensuring accurate records of receipt, location and movement within the warehouse. You will take deliveries, inspect for defects, move stock, keep stock locations updated in Global Trader, and participate in stock checks and training in Goods In.

Onsite five days per week; basic IT skills and a forklift license are advantageous.

Qualifications

• A-level qualification is required.
• Willingness to work onsite five days a week.
• Experience with Microsoft Office/Excel is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Take delivery of goods and supplies.
• Visually inspect all deliveries for defects and record findings, including photographs.
• Move stock using manual handling, lifting equipment, or a forklift.
• Ensure inspection equipment is in full working order.
• Check deliveries against the daily shipping schedule.
• Liaise internally to resolve product issues.
• Understand customer deliverables and cost of poor quality.
• Store products with accurate stock locations in Global Trader.
• Assist with stock checks when required.
• Conduct training in Goods in when needed.
• Observe ESD precautions at all times.
• Maintain tidy work area and good housekeeping.
• Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration.
• Operate safely in compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Handle hazardous materials appropriately.
• Make recommendations to aid efficiency and add value.
