TLD equipment is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse and dispatch operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Bedford. You will ensure the efficient flow of materials from Goods-In through to production supply, packing and dispatch, while developing a multi-skilled team and driving improvements.

Responsabilidades

• Lead all warehouse activities including Goods-In, inventory control, picking, packing, dispatch.
• Manage and develop the warehouse team (9 employees) promoting accountability and high performance.
• Plan and allocate resources to support production and customer demands.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through stock control and cycle counting.
• Ensure timely receipt and availability of materials for production.
• Oversee on-time supply of materials to production and finished goods.
• Monitor and improve warehouse KPIs such as stock accuracy and dispatch.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes, layout and material flow.
• Maintain high standards of Health & Safety, housekeeping and discipline.

This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of materials from Goods-In and inventory management through to production supply, packing, and dispatch.

The successful candidate will manage and develop a multi-skilled team, ensuring operational priorities are met while driving continuous improvements in stock accuracy, productivity, material flow, and overall warehouse performance. Strong leadership, resource planning, and a proactive approach to process improvement are essential.

Your Missions

• Lead all warehouse activities, including Goods-In, inventory control, picking, packing, dispatch, and Goods-Out.
• Manage, coach, and develop the warehouse team (9 employes), promoting accountability and high performance.
• Plan and allocate resources effectively to support production and customer demands.
• Maintain high inventory accuracy through robust stock control and cycle counting processes.
• Ensure timely receipt, system booking, and availability of materials for production.
• Oversee accurate and on-time supply of materials to production and shipment of finished goods.
• Monitor and improve warehouse KPIs, including stock accuracy, productivity, and dispatch performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse processes, layout, and material flow.
• Maintain high standards of Health & Safety, housekeeping, and operational discipline.

YOUR KEYS TO SUCCESS :

You will ideally have proven experience managing warehouse operations within a fast-paced manufacturing or engineering environment. Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse processes, ERP systems, and dispatch operations is essential.

A hands-on leader, you have a track record of developing teams, driving operational performance, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. Strong planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills will enable you to manage changing priorities effectively while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer service.

You are a visible, engaged, and proactive manager who enjoys working at the heart of the operation. You thrive in dynamic environments where strong leadership, communication, and decision-making are key to success.
