Job summary

TLD Europe is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse and dispatch operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Kempston, United Kingdom. You will oversee goods-in, inventory control, picking, packing, dispatch, and Goods-Out while guiding a multi-skilled team to meet production and customer demands.

The role emphasizes improving stock accuracy, productivity, and material flow, with a focus on safety and process enhancements across the warehouse and related KPI

The role :

We are looking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse and dispatch operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of materials from Goods-In and inventory management through to production supply, packing, and dispatch.

The successful candidate will manage and develop a multi-skilled team, ensuring operational priorities are met while driving continuous improvements in stock accuracy, productivity, material flow, and overall warehouse performance. Strong leadership, resource planning, and a proactive approach to process improvement are essential.

Your missions :

Lead all warehouse activities, including Goods-In, inventory control, picking, packing, dispatch, and Goods-Out.

Manage, coach, and develop the warehouse team (9 employes), promoting accountability and high performance.

Plan and allocate resources effectively to support production and customer demands.

Maintain high inventory accuracy through robust stock control and cycle counting processes.

Ensure timely receipt, system booking, and availability of materials for production.

Oversee accurate and on-time supply of materials to production and shipment of finished goods.

Monitor and improve warehouse KPIs, including stock accuracy, productivity, and dispatch performance.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse processes, layout, and material flow.

Maintain high standards of Health & Safety, housekeeping, and operational discipline.

YOUR KEYS TO SUCCESS :

You will ideally have proven experience managing warehouse operations within a fast-paced manufacturing or engineering environment. Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse processes, ERP systems, and dispatch operations is essential.

A hands-on leader, you have a track record of developing teams, driving operational performance, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. Strong planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills will enable you to manage changing priorities effectively while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer service.

You are a visible, engaged, and proactive manager who enjoys working at the heart of the operation. You thrive in dynamic environments where strong leadership, communication, and decision-making are key to success.
