Warehouse Manager

Location: Coventry

Salary: £37,000 - £42,000 per annum

Overview

Are you a hands-on leader who thrives on improving processes and building operations from the ground up? This is your opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of a growing warehouse function at an ambitious manufacturing operation near Coventry.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support all warehouse operations - from goods-in to dispatch
• Implement and optimise warehouse processes and layout
• Drive continuous improvement in quality, efficiency, and safety
• Coordinate closely with production, planning, and procurement teams
• Manage and mentor a small team of operators with a focus on development
• Take a hands-on role when needed - it's a small team so everyone pitches in

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse leadership, ideally in a manufacturing setting
• A passion for process improvement, lean principles, and operational excellence
• Comfortable working in a small team and contributing beyond your job title
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Working knowledge of Health & Safety and warehouse systems
• IT literate with solid Excel and reporting skills
