The Best Connection Group in Welwyn Garden City is seeking a Warehouse Manager to support operations across transport and warehouse functions.

Key duties include organising drivers' rotas, managing stock records and Goods In/Out, and ensuring vehicle maintenance and safety standards are met. Training and staff holiday records are also included in the role.

Qualifications

• Experience within Transport or warehouse management.
• Own transport or full UK driving licence required.

Responsabilités

• Organise drivers' rotas, delivery runs and handle late drivers.
• Manage driver sheets and tachograph records.
• Arrange all aspects of vehicle maintenance.
• Oversee vehicle loading/unloading and stock control (Goods In/Out).
• Maintain stock records and ensure stock replenishment.
• Book supplier deliveries and manage stock issues.
• Monitor Specials and customer collection areas.
• Ensure Health & Safety and housekeeping standards.
• Coordinate training and holiday/overtime records.

Our client based in Welwyn Garden City is looking for a new Warehouse Manager to help support its operational needs across the transport and warehouse.

Warehouse Manager Duties will include:

• Organising Drivers' Rotas, Delivery Runs & dealing with 'late' drivers
• Drivers' sheets, Tachograph Records
• Arranging all aspects of vehicle maintenance
• Vehicle loading & unloading
• Managing Goods In and Goods Out sections. Stock Records.
• Managing Stock bins are replenished.
• Managing & booking in of Supplier deliveries & Stock Issues.
• Regularly checking the 'Specials' and customer collection areas.
• Overseeing general Health & Safety and all aspects of housekeeping
• Training
• Managing staff holiday records & Overtime

Warehouse Manager Key Experience required:

Experience within Transport or warehouse management

Have own transport or hold full UK licence as company van provided

Warehouse Manager Hours of work:

37 hours per week Monday to Thursday 9:00 - 17:30, Friday 9:00 - 17:00

Flexibility would be required however dependant on business needs
