Elevation Recruitment Group is recruiting a Warehouse Night Shift Manager in Wakefield to run a large, high-volume distribution centre overnight with a 4-day week. You will lead Team Leaders, Supervisors and Operatives across goods-out, replenishment, picking, packing, despatch, stock integrity and returns, driving safety and performance.

The role offers an excellent salary and genuine progression opportunities within a growing business, plus a 3-day weekend, 46-hour week, and on-site facilities.

Formación

• At least 3 years' experience as a warehouse manager in a high-volume logistics or retail environment.
• Experience moving large goods.
• Strong knowledge of inbound, outbound, replenishment and stock management.
• Confident people leader capable of coaching and motivating a large team.
• Proven track record of hitting KPIs and operational targets.
• Solid understanding of Health & Safety legislation and safe working practices.

Responsabilidades

• Lead all warehouse operations on the shift, meeting daily targets, SLAs and KPIs including pick rates, stock accuracy, damages and returns.
• Manage, motivate and develop Team Leaders and front-line colleagues with 1:1s and HR matters as needed.
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, Fire Safety, Environmental and Manual Handling regulations and SOPs.
• Deliver shift briefs, performance updates and end-of-shift handovers.
• Ensure WMS processes are followed, working with Stock Control on stock accuracy.
• Drive continuous improvement and collaborate with Transport, Customer Service and Procurement to resolve issues for customers.

Warehouse Night Shift Manager - 4-Day Week - Wakefield - £55,000

Elevation Recruitment Group is proud to be partnering exclusively with an established and growing business in Wakefield that is looking to recruit a Warehouse Shift Manager to join their growing team.

This is a senior, hands-on role running a large, high-volume distribution centre overnight. You'll lead a team of Team Leaders, Supervisors and Operatives through goods-out, replenishment, picking, packing, despatch, stock integrity and returns, and set the standard for safety, performance and accountability on your shift. There is real investment in the operation and room to grow with the business.

• 4 nights a week, Tuesday to Friday, giving you a 3-day weekend every week!
• Shift - 18:00 to 06:00 (46 hours per week)

The Role

• Lead all warehouse operations on your shift, hitting daily targets, SLAs and KPIs including pick rates, stock accuracy, damages and returns
• Manage, motivate and develop Team Leaders and front-line colleagues, including 1:1s, return-to-work interviews and escalating HR matters
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, Fire Safety, Environmental and Manual Handling regulations, SOPs and risk assessments
• Deliver shift briefs, performance updates and end-of-shift handovers
• Make sure WMS processes are followed, working closely with Stock Control on stock accuracy
• Drive continuous improvement and work with Transport, Customer Service and Procurement to resolve issues and deliver for customers

The Person

• At least 3 years' experience as a warehouse manager in a high-volume logistics or retail environment
• Previous experience with moving large goods
• Strong knowledge of inbound, outbound, replenishment and stock management
• A confident people leader who can coach and motivate a large team
• A proven track record of hitting KPIs and operational targets
• A solid understanding of Health & Safety legislation and safe working practices
