Job Description
Responsible for maintaining the execution, direction, and coordination of all warehouse-related matters within the Warehouse.
Qualifications
Your role as Warehouse Manager
- Ensure the warehouse department complies with all regulations and standards.
- Take overall responsibility for departmental HSQE, managing issues through to resolution.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of stock checks.
- Maintain audit results within targeted thresholds.
- Line management responsibility for Warehouse Team Leaders, Stock Controller, Export Controller, and Customer Team Member.
- Manage recruitment, induction, and training of new staff.
- Conduct exit interviews and complete relevant documentation for leavers.
- Support the DC Manager in identifying opportunities for improvement within the warehouse department/DC.
- Promote best practices across all sites.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for the warehouse department.
- Liaise with internal and external customers to resolve issues promptly.
- Exceed on-time and in-full delivery targets.
- Manage supplier and customer relationships in line with business standards.
- Manage departmental budget in accordance with targets and account for variances.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives within the warehouse department.
What you'll bring...
- Proven experience in managing and developing teams.
- Strong knowledge of Health and Safety procedures and legislation.
- Experience in warehousing within a fast-moving FMCG environment.
- Excellent communication skills for interaction at all levels.
- Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and engage a diverse team.
- Flexibility to meet business needs and make quick decisions.
- Methodical with a keen eye for detail.

- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
- Flexibility to work hours as required.
