Job Description

Responsible for maintaining the execution, direction, and coordination of all warehouse-related matters within the Warehouse.

Qualifications

Your role as Warehouse Manager

• Ensure the warehouse department complies with all regulations and standards.
• Take overall responsibility for departmental HSQE, managing issues through to resolution.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of stock checks.
• Maintain audit results within targeted thresholds.
• Line management responsibility for Warehouse Team Leaders, Stock Controller, Export Controller, and Customer Team Member.
• Manage recruitment, induction, and training of new staff.
• Conduct exit interviews and complete relevant documentation for leavers.
• Support the DC Manager in identifying opportunities for improvement within the warehouse department/DC.
• Promote best practices across all sites.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for the warehouse department.
• Liaise with internal and external customers to resolve issues promptly.
• Exceed on-time and in-full delivery targets.
• Manage supplier and customer relationships in line with business standards.
• Manage departmental budget in accordance with targets and account for variances.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives within the warehouse department.
