ABOUT YOU

As our Warehouse Manager, you must be organized and process-driven, with an eye for detail. You should be able to remain calm under pressure, prioritize your workload, and communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, and couriers.

Experience working in a busy warehouse environment, understanding stock management, operations, logistics, and health and safety is essential. You need to follow procedures and suggest improvements. Being polite, friendly, hardworking, and prideful in your work is important.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role ensures the safe, secure, and efficient management of stock. Experience with inward and outward goods, inventory management, forecasting, and preparing orders for sale and shipping is essential. Although managerial, this is also a hands-on role. With the company's growth, the role may become more managerial in the future. The role is based at our head office in Surrey.

RESPONSIBILITIES / SKILLS

• Working on Sage 200 for accounts and stock management
• Proficient with Excel spreadsheets
• Collaborate with the accounts department on stock control and ordering
• Manage goods inward, logging, and storage
• Optimize storage space and plan for future capacity
• Oversee daily warehouse operations
• Manage stock control, reordering, product lifespans, and stocktakes
• Prepare sales orders for shipping, ensuring safe packaging
• Liaise with sales team on order issues
• Negotiate and manage courier relationships
• Prepare and ship trade show goods
• Ensure warehouse security and health and safety
• Represent the business professionally
• Travel to meetings and industry events as needed
• Perform tasks outside immediate job scope for business benefit
• Possess excellent organization, time management, and communication skills
• Interest in skincare sector is a plus
