Piramal Pharma Solutions is seeking a proactive Warehouse Manager to oversee all on-site warehouse operations in line with GxP, Health & Safety and regulatory standards. You will lead the warehouse team to meet production schedules, maintain stock accuracy and ensure compliant handling of materials and finished products.

This role is based on-site at Grangemouth, UK. Experience in GMP/GDP environments and strong training and leadership skills are essential to drive continuous improvements and

• Manage warehouse team to meet production schedules
• Oversee daily operations with focus on performance and training
• Ensure GMP/GDP, Health & Safety and SOP compliance in all activities
• Control shipment of materials and products to customers/suppliers per regulations
• Maintain accurate stock listings and perform regular stock takes
• Conduct inventory controls and uphold QA standards for audits
• Receive/process warehouse stock using a computerized stock control system
• Coordinate waste management on site and liaise with waste contractor
• Act as primary contact for client hosting and regulatory audits/inspections
• Drive continuous improvement through cross-functional initiatives
• Attend site meetings representing Supply Chain
• Promote a clean, safe working environment and implement audit actions

Job Title

Warehouse Manager

Job Description

Responsible for the routine operation of all warehouse activities on site in compliance with all GxP and Health & Safety standards.

• Managing warehouse team to deliver materials and equipment to meet agreed production schedules


• Day to day management of warehouse operators with overall responsibility for performance and training standards


• Ensure the warehouse facilities are maintained and monitored in a manner compliant with all GXP (e.g. GMP & GDP) and regulatory standards


• Ensuring all operations are carried out per Health & Safety and Quality SOPs


• Control the shipment of materials, pharmaceutical product, intermediates and active substances to and from customers/suppliers, ensuring compliance with all regulations and customer requirements


• Maintain accurate stock listings and carry out regular stock take counts


• Perform Inventory controls and keep quality standards high for Audits


• Receive and process warehouse stock products using a computerise stock control system (pick, unload, label, store)


• Overall control of all site waste management acting as key contact with waste contractor


• Key point of contact for hosting client and regulatory audits / inspections of warehouse facilities


• Implement change and contribute in cross functional initiatives across the organisation


• Enhance efficiency through staff training, motivation, guidance and process Improvement


• Attend key meetings on site as a representative of the Supply Chain function


• Promote a clean, tidy, healthy and safe working environment and to ensure that the outcome and actions arising from audits are acted upon
