As our Warehouse Manager you must be organised and process-driven, with an eye for detail. You must be able to remain calm under pressure, prioritise your workload and communicate clearly with colleagues, customers and couriers.

Experience working in a busy warehouse environment, understanding the importance of stock management and control, operations, logistics and health and safety are essential. You must be able to follow procedures, as well as offer suggestions for improvements. You will need to be polite, friendly, hardworking and take pride in your work.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is an important role, ensuring the safe, secure and efficient management of our stock. Experience in this area is essential, particularly with inward and outbound goods, managing stock inventory, forecasting, preparing orders for sale and shipping goods.

Whilst this is a managerial role, it is also a hands-on role. Dermapure Clinical has doubled its sales in the last 18 months and we anticipate continued growth, leading to larger premises and this role becoming even more managerial in the future. We’re therefore seeking someone excited by future prospects and the opportunity to develop the role.

The role will be based at our head office in Surrey.

RESPONSIBILITIES / SKILLS

·Working on Sage 200, our accounts and stock management system

·To be proficient with Excel Spreadsheets

·To work closely with our accounts department regarding stock control and ordering

·To manage goods inward, logging and storing all goods accordingly

·To manage and optimise storage space and plan for future capacity requirements

·Oversee the safe, clean and tidy day-to-day running of the warehouse

·To manage stock control, including reordering, product lifespans and stocktakes

·To prepare sales orders for shipping, ensuring goods are packaged safely and securely

·To liaise with the sales team regarding any sales order issues

·To negotiate the best courier service and manage courier relationships

·To prepare and ship trade show goods ensuring items reach the location and are ready for exhibition use

·To be responsible for warehouse security and health and safety

·To conduct yourself for the benefit of the business, our suppliers, our clients and in support of other team members.

·To represent our business and all of our brands professionally and appropriately.

·To be prepared to travel to meetings and industry events.

·To be prepared to carry out tasks outside of your immediate job description when required for the overall benefit of the business.

·Possess exceptional organisation, time management and communication skills.

·To have a keen interest in the skincare sector would be beneficial.
