Job summary

Alliance Automotive Group is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee the receipt, storage and dispatch of goods across our UK operations. You will manage people, processes and systems to ensure productivity targets are met while maintaining health and safety and stock security.

You will liaise with customers, suppliers and transport partners, optimise stock control, plan capacity and drive improvements. A proactive leader with strong IT and analytical skills is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee receipt, storage and dispatch of goods to ensure timely delivery.
  • Coordinate and monitor stock movements and warehouse processes.
  • Lead and develop warehouse staff; recruit and train where needed.
  • Monitor health, safety, and security standards across the site.
  • Maintain accurate stock records and use systems to report on inventory.
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers and transport companies to resolve issues.
  • Utilise warehouse space and equipment efficiently to meet targets and budgets.
  • Plan future capacity requirements and report on performance metrics.
  • Brief team leaders daily and provide regular performance feedback.
  • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports and statistics.
