Job summary

NAPA Auto Parts UK, distributed by Alliance Automotive Group, is recruiting a Warehouse Manager to oversee receipt, storage and dispatch of goods. You will manage people, processes and systems to ensure productivity, safety and stock integrity across the site.

You will liaise with customers and suppliers, optimise space use, report on performance, and lead recruitment and training to drive continuous improvements in a dynamic warehousing environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor the receipt, order, assembly and dispatch of goods.
• Use space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently, ensuring quality, budget targets and environmental objectives are met.
• Understand the company policies and how the warehouse contributes to them.
• Coordinate the use of systems where necessary.
• Respond to customer communication by email and telephone.
• Keep stock control systems up to date and inventories accurate.
• Plan future capacity requirements.
• Organise recruitment and training of staff and monitor performance.
• Motivate and guide the team to meet productivity targets.
• Produce regular reports and statistics daily, weekly and monthly.
• Brief team leaders daily.
• Maintain health, safety, hygiene and security standards.
• Oversee planned maintenance of machinery and equipment.

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Manager to join our team. The Warehouse manager oversee the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of a range of goods. Responsible for a vital part of the supply chain process, you'll manage people, processes and systems in order to ensure goods are received and dispatched appropriately, and that productivity targets are met. You'll also be responsible for workplace health and safety standards and for the security of the building and stock.

• Motivate, organise and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded
• Produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
• Brief team leaders on a daily basis
• Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment,
• Oversee the planned maintenance of machinery and equipment
