Job summary

Milo’s Tea Company in Birmingham is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator to move finished product from production to storage areas and to assist with cycle counts. You will perform pre-shift inspections and ensure safe operation of equipment.

This role requires attention to safety, accurate inventory records, and the ability to work overtime or weekends as required. We offer competitive pay and benefits as part of a people-first culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum one (1) year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and perform basic mathematical functions.
• A valid driver’s license and a forklift and electric pallet jack certification will be required upon job placement.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre-shift inspection of forklifts and submit required daily inspection paperwork.
• Ensure proper rotation of product using FIFO system.
• Operate equipment safely including powered or manual low-lift trucks.
• Inspect trailers for cleanliness based on SQF guidelines.
• Log finished product in inventory when placed on cooler racks.
• Assist with cycle counts, material staging, and stock transitions.
