Job summary
Yolk Recruitment is supporting a leading manufacturing organisation with the recruitment of a Warehouse & Logistics Manager to oversee warehousing, materials and logistics operations based in Lydney.
You will lead a Warehouse and Logistics team across two sites, manage stock, inbound/outbound transport, 3PLs and SAP/MRP systems, and drive continuous improvement in safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience leading warehouse/ logistics teams in manufacturing or FMCG environments.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control and stock accuracy across multiple locations.
- Experience with ERP/MRP and SAP is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operation of the on-site warehouse and supervise Warehouse and Logistics staff.
- Manage external warehouse facility relationships and ensure smooth stock transfer between sites.
- Maintain warehouse capacity visibility, plan stock movements and ensure accurate inventory across systems.
- Oversee inbound/outbound transport, work with carriers and 3PL providers to ensure cost-effective service.
- Drive continuous improvement in processes, layouts and safety across Warehouse and Logistics.
