What You'll Be Doing

As our night-time guardian of the goods, you'll ensure every delivery arrives safe, checked with accuracy, and stored properly. Your leadership will keep our night shift team taps into their full potential, maintaining efficiency and accuracy within our energetic Super Shed environment.

Your Nightly Duties Will Include:

• Leading the Charge in Leyland: Direct and inspire our Goods In team to unload, verify, and book in deliveries efficiently.
• Orderly Conduct at the Shed: Ensure received items match their paperwork accurately.
• Damage Control: Inspect deliveries for damages and report issues promptly.
• System Savvy: Navigate our warehouse management system (WMS) effectively, maintaining accurate stock records.
• Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with daytime teams and other locations to ensure smooth operations.
• Safety First: Promote a safe working environment, adhering to safety rules.
• Performance Monitoring: Track Goods In performance, identify improvements, and implement solutions.
• Process Improvement: Contribute ideas to enhance our Goods In processes.
• Resource Management: Manage night-time resources effectively, ensuring proper staffing and equipment.
• Communication: Hold regular team meetings to keep everyone informed and address issues.

What You'll Need:

• Experience in supervisory or management roles within warehouse Goods In environments, preferably with night shift experience.
• Knowledge of warehouse management, stock control, and quality checks.
• Proficiency in WMS and warehouse technology.
