What You'll Be Doing

As the night-time guardian of our Goods In process at Leyland Super Shed, you'll ensure every delivery arrives safely, is checked accurately, and finds its designated spot in our warehouse. Your leadership will keep our night shift team efficient and accurate, maintaining productivity while the rest of the world sleeps.

Your Nightly Duties Will Include:

• Leading the Charge in Leyland: Directing and inspiring our Goods In team to unload, verify, and book in deliveries efficiently.
• Orderly Conduct at the Shed: Ensuring received items match their paperwork with high accuracy.
• Damage Control: Inspecting deliveries for damages and reporting issues promptly.
• System Savvy: Navigating our warehouse management system (WMS) effectively to keep stock records accurate.
• Team Collaboration: Working seamlessly with daytime teams and other locations for smooth operations.
• Safety First: Promoting a safe working environment and ensuring safety rules are followed.
• Performance Monitoring: Tracking Goods In performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions.
• Process Improvement: Contributing ideas to enhance our Goods In processes.
• Resource Management: Managing night-time resources efficiently to ensure optimal staffing and equipment use.
• Communication: Holding regular team meetings to keep everyone informed and address issues.

What You'll Need:
