Job summary

SMT Recruitment is assisting in the recruitment of a Warehouse Operative for a permanent role in Flitwick. The role involves operating a counterbalance forklift, assisting with loading/unloading, picking/packing orders, scanning items, and general warehouse duties.

The candidate should be proactive, reliable, and flexible, with the ability to work as part of a team and perform manual handling and heavy lifting as required. 8:30am-5:00pm (Fri 8:30am-2:45pm), permanent contract.

Qualifications

• Experience as Warehouse Operative.
• Able to operate forklift safely and efficiently.
• Reliable and flexible with a proactive attitude.
• Willing to perform a variety of warehouse duties and long-term permanent role.

Responsibilities

• Operate a counterbalance forklift truck.
• Load and unload lorries.
