Job summary

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to join a well established manufacturing business in Rothley, Leicestershire. The role is afternoons (14:00-22:00), Mon-Fri, with a salary of £13 per hour and a temp-to-perm pathway.

You will be part of the Finished Goods team, handling goods storage, preparing loading areas, and supporting production demands. Forklift operation and other MHE may be required after training and sign-off.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating forklifts and holding a national forklift licence.

Responsibilities

• Move pallets around the facility.
• Prepare loading areas in line with schedule.
• Identify and report damages or quantity issues.
• Load trucks when required.
• Operate forklift and other equipment after training and sign-off.
• Stock taking when required.
• Maintain housekeeping.

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver to work for a well established manufacturing business based in Rothley, LE7, Leicestershire

This is expected to be a temp to perm position

The Job:

They are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to work in their Finished Goods team

You will be responsible for working in a team to manage the goods storage in the warehouse and to prepare the loading area to fulfil production demands

You will have a number of other tasks and responsibilities to adhere to

Which can include:

• Moving pallets around the facility
• Preparing loading areas in line with loading schedule documentation
• Identify and report any damages or quantity issues
• Loading trucks if needed
• Operating a forklift and other MHEequipment once trained after being signed off to do so
• Stock taking when required
• Keep on top of housekeeping

• Shift isAfternoons 1400-2200 Monday to Friday
• Salary £13ph

The Person:

• Proven experience in a warehouse or manufacturing role
• Previous experience driving either a Reach or Counterbalance forklift and National licence
• Experience working with clamp would be an advantage
• Happy to work on either a morning shift or afternoon shift
• Access to own transport due to lack of public transport at certain shift times
