Great Bear in Milton Keynes is seeking a Warehouse First Line Manager to oversee shifts and ensure safe, efficient operations. The role focuses on keeping customer requirements fulfilled and leading a motivated team, with a rotating early/late shift pattern.

Qualifications

• Proven FLM or senior operative experience in a fast-paced logistics/3PL.
• Strong operational and people-management skills.
• Good computer literacy; experience with WMS and SAP is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Act as main contact between admin, stock and management to resolve warehouse issues.
• Prepare shift handover documents and pass data for seamless transitions.
• Manage performance of operatives using warehouse tools.
• Lead your team and ensure compliance with processes and policies.
• Create training plans and develop staffing to match capability needs.
• Ensure compliance with key control, logs, and pre-op checks.
• Support weekly customer updates as required.
