Job summary

Loom Talent is seeking a Warehouse First Line Manager in Rotherham to lead the 14:30–23:00 shift on a Monday to Friday schedule. The role focuses on driving productivity, quality and service KPIs in a large-scale distribution operation.

You will manage, coach and develop warehouse staff, coordinate labour and resources, and collaborate with the wider logistics team to optimise performance in a KPI-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Warehouse First Line Manager, Warehouse Team Leader, Warehouse Supervisor or similar leadership role.
• Experience in a large-scale 3PL or complex distribution centre.
• Experience managing teams in a fast-paced, KPI-driven warehouse.
• Good understanding of warehouse health & safety and operational compliance.

The role

This Warehouse First Line Manager opportunity is with a large-scale distribution operation based in Rotherham, working across a busy Monday to Friday late shift.

The business is looking for a hands-on Warehouse First Line Manager who can lead from the front, manage day-to-day warehouse performance and ensure the operation delivers against productivity, quality and service expectations.

Operating within a large, fast-paced environment, you'll be responsible for managing warehouse colleagues across your area while working closely with the wider Logistics distribution and supply chain function. This would particularly suit someone who has gained experience within a large 3PL operation and is comfortable working in a structured, KPI-led environment.

• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, productivity and performance management
• Comfortable managing labour, resource and changing operational priorities
• Good understanding of warehouse Health & Safety and operational compliance
• Experience working within a Logistics distribution and supply chain environment
• A visible, hands-on leadership style with strong communication and people management skills
