Job summary

Willen Hospice is seeking a Warehouse Customer Assistant at Kiln Farm Distribution Centre, Milton Keynes. You will warmly welcome supporters, help with donations, organise stock, and assist with unloading deliveries to keep operations running smoothly.

The role emphasises customer service, teamwork, and adherence to Health & Safety guidelines in a busy warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Move, organise and allocate stock for distribution.
• Greet supporters and provide courteous service on arrival.
• Assist with loading and unloading donated goods.

• Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and well organised.
• Comply with Health and Safety regulations.

In thisrole,youwillbethewarm welcomeat the heartofour operations,as you greetour supporters,assistwithdonations, organisestock andhelpwithunloadingdeliveries.

Whatyou’lldo:

Support Daily Operations: Work alongside thewarehouse team tomove, organiseandallocatestock for distribution.

SupporterEngagement: Greet andassistsupporters dropping off donations with awelcoming andcourteous service.

Gift Aid Promotion: Maximise income by encouraging donors to sign up for Gift Aid, completing paperwork, and adding Gift Aid labels to relevant stock(full training will be given).

Loading & Unloading: Assist with the safe collection and delivery of donated goods, working safely and in compliance with Health and Safety guidelines.

Furniture Storage & Stock Rotation: Help with the storage and rotation of stock to ensure the warehouseremainswell-organised and functional.

Collaborate with the Team: Work closely withthe TeamLeadersandvolunteers to ensure the smooth running of operations.

Maintain Cleanliness:Help keepthe warehouse clean, tidy, and well-organised.

Compliance: Follow all organisational policies, procedures, and legal requirements, including Health & Safety regulations.
