About The Role

As a Warehouse Controller at GSF Car Parts, you will be responsible for motivating and leading a team of Warehouse Operatives. Your role will ensure stock availability to meet sales targets and that the operational functions of the Warehouse run smoothly.

Main Duties include:

• Manage the organisation and performance of the Goods In, Goods Out, Returns, and Stock Control departments to ensure efficiency.
• Pick and load vans/carriers accurately for timely customer deliveries.
• Check stock quantities against computer records for accuracy.
• Use judgment and initiative to develop effective solutions to challenges.
• Assist the branch manager with holiday/sickness cover, weekly planning, developing the warehouse team, and coordinating with drivers to optimize delivery service.
• Create a positive environment where employees are valued and can develop their potential.

Working hours:

Average hours are Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday working.

About You

Ideally, you will have a proven track record of managing a warehouse, preferably within a fast-paced environment such as FMCG.

What you'll need to succeed:
