About the Role

Our operation runs 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, with a wide variety of shift patterns. If you're looking for flexible working to fit around your lifestyle, then look no further! We will work with you on your shifts, but late and weekend work are required, and we may need to be flexible with your work pattern.

Our stores are stocked with thousands of products, from clothes and household items to tinned foods, frozen goods, and chilled produce. Without our warehouse teams, these products wouldn't be on the shelves for our customers! Our warehouse teams pick and organize the right products to ensure they reach the right stores at the right time. This is a vital part of our supply chain, making for fast-moving, busy, and varied work.

As part of this role, you will complete a Level 2 warehouse operative apprenticeship and be responsible for:

1. Replenishing stock of all shapes and sizes in the warehouse.
2. Picking stock by store or product type and preparing deliveries for stores.
3. Using all our equipment (full training will be provided to ensure safe and effective use).

If you're interested in pursuing a career in logistics through a Level 2 apprenticeship alongside your day job, this could be the role for you! You will have support from our apprenticeship provider, Babcock, and your line manager throughout your 12-month journey. Please note that you will need to pass functional Maths and English skills tests to be eligible unless exempt due to prior learning.

About You

You will be naturally friendly and eager to get involved, working with your team to deliver excellent results. You should have an enthusiastic approach to learning new skills and be committed to working accurately and efficiently. Your focus will be on delivering goods 'on time in full' to ensure stores have the right stock at the right time, keeping products available for our customers. You should also be willing to commit to the 12-month Level 2 warehouse operative apprenticeship.
