About the Role

Our operation runs 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, with a wide variety of shift patterns. If you're looking for flexible working to fit around your lifestyle, then look no further! We will work with you on your shifts, but late and weekend work are requirements of the role, and we may need to be flexible with your work pattern.

Our stores are packed with thousands of products, from clothes and household items to tinned foods, frozen goods, and chilled produce. Our warehouse teams are essential for getting these products onto the shelves for our customers. They pick and organize the right products to ensure timely delivery to stores. This is a fast-moving, busy, and varied work environment.

As part of this role, you will complete a Level 2 warehouse operative apprenticeship and be responsible for:

1. Replenishing stock of all shapes and sizes in the warehouse.
2. Picking stock by store or product type and preparing deliveries for stores.
3. Using all our equipment safely and effectively (full training provided).

If you're interested in pursuing a career in logistics through a Level 2 apprenticeship alongside your day job, this could be the role for you! You will receive support from our apprenticeship provider Babcock and your line manager throughout the 12-month apprenticeship. Please note, you will need to pass functional Maths and English skills tests to be eligible unless exempt due to prior learning.

You will be naturally friendly, eager to learn new skills, and work well with your team to deliver excellent results. You will work accurately and efficiently, caring about delivering goods 'on time in full' to ensure stores have the right stock at the right time. You must be willing to commit to the 12-month Level 2 warehouse operative apprenticeship.
