Job summary

People Solutions in Winsford is recruiting for a Warehouse Co Ordinator & FLT driver to support a major stocktake project at our Winsford site. This is a full-time, fixed-term role starting ASAP for three weeks, with potential for ongoing work for strong performers.

The role is ideal for candidates seeking a Stock Controller, Warehouse Inventory Assistant or Inventory Clerk position, and requires a current FLT Reach & Counterbalance licence with in-date certification.

Qualifications

• Impeccable attention to detail.
• Strong numerical ability and maths.
• Fluent English reading, writing and comprehension.
• Comfortable with data entry.

Responsibilities

• Ensure appropriate work wear is worn at all times in line with Health & Safety regulations.
• Ensure Pre-start FLT records are documented at the start of every shift.
• Drive FLT in accordance with safety rules and regulations.
• Load and unload delivery/collection vehicles in a safe and timely manner.
• Booking goods in when required.
• Creating delivery documents where required.
• Daily picking/issuing stock for production orders.
• Assist with efficient component movement between the factory and the warehouse.
• Ensuring goods and components are scanned into the correct locations and where possible, consolidate stock for efficiency.
• Offering daily support for the stock control team.
• Obtain good product knowledge to increase efficiency, improve accuracy in picking stock and inventory processing to contribute to overall business success.
• Assist with company and customer stock takes.
• Ensure Warehouse and Yard are always kept clean and tidy.

The ideal candidate must hold a in date accredited FLT Reach & Counterbalance Licences

• £13.05 -£14.00 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Warehouse Co Ordinator & FLT driver, your duties will include:

• Ensure appropriate work wear is worn at all times in line with Health & Safety regulations.
• Ensure Pre-start FLT records are documented at the start of every shift.
• Drive FLT in accordance with safety rules and regulations.
• Load and unload delivery/collection vehicles in a safe and timely manner.
• Booking goods in when required.
• Creating delivery documents where required.
• Daily picking/Issuing stock for production orders.
• Assist with efficient component movement between the factory and the warehouse.
• Ensuring goods and components are scanned into the correct locations and where possible, consolidate stock for efficiency.
• Offering daily support for the stock control team.
• Obtain good product knowledge to increase efficiency, improve accuracy in picking stock and inventory processing to contribute to overall business success.
• Assist with company and customer stock takes.
• Ensure Warehouse and Yard are always kept clean and tidy.
• Preparing and marking up Container shipments - Ensuring the storage of container pallets are kept separate in their own racking.
• Liaise with buyer to order gas for the trucks, pallets, pallet wrap/covers and collection of waste/recycling materials.
• Monitoring the returned stock from production to warehouse, to ensure correct stock counts for future orders and stock taking.
