Job summary

Medequip Assistive Technology Limited in Emersons Green is hiring a Warehouse and Cleaning Operative to support depot operations on-site. You will load/unload deliveries, decontaminate and clean medical devices, and manage goods in/out using barcode scanners.

You’ll pick and QA the daily workload and work both independently and with the team, with tasks including PAT testing and LOLER checks, and occasional repair work as needed. This is a permanent, full-time role.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse and/or cleaning operations is desirable.
• Flexibility with working days/hours to suit the business needs.
• Participate in an on-call rota.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading our delivery vehicles in a safe and compliant manner.
• Decontamination and cleaning of medical devices and equipment.
• Ensuring goods in and out are accounted for utilising barcode scanners.
• Pick and quality assure that day's delivery workload.
• Delivering service with empathy and care as part of the Medequip team.
• Working independently and as part of a team.
• Carrying out PAT testing and LOLER checking.
• Occasionally carry out general repair tasks within the depot.
