Job summary

Lidl in Doncaster is seeking a Warehouse Cleaner to keep the warehouse spotless and organised throughout the day. You’ll report to the Warehouse Operations/Distribution & Recycling Department Shift Leader and work with a motivated team to maintain a clean and safe environment.

We offer a competitive hourly rate, 30–35 days holiday pro rata, ongoing training, and benefits including a 10% in-store discount and pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Have a keen eye and attention to detail.
• Experience in cleaning or maintenance (beneficial but not essential).
• Ensuring compliance with Corporate Code of Conduct and Principles.
• Follow internal guidelines and standards.
• Be flexible in your work and open to executing individual tasks (excluding picking).

Responsibilities

• Clean all warehouse areas, including floors and fittings.
• Remove and dispose waste packaging to minimise trip hazards.
• Maintain hygiene via clean-as-you-go stations.
• Clear fire exits of blockages and litter.
• Empty recycling stations and move to Recycling areas.
• Operate cleaning machinery confidently.
• Ensure Health and Safety standards at all times.

You’ll report to the Warehouse Operations/Distribution & Recycling Department Shift Leader. With a motivated team, you’ll keep all areas of the warehouse clean and tidy - from the loading bays to the car parks.

What you'll do

• Cleaning all warehouse areas, including the floors, fixtures, fittings, and mopping up spillages
• Removing and disposing waste packaging from the warehouse floor to minimise trip hazards
• Ensuring 'clean as you go' stations are stocked e.g. tissue roll, hazard signs
• Clearing all fire exits of blockages and litter
• Emptying the recycling stations and moving them to the Recycling areas
• Confidently operate cleaning machinery
• Proactively make sure that hygiene and Health and Safety standards are met at all times
