Job summary

Lidl GB is hiring a Warehouse Cleaner in Doncaster. You will keep the warehouse spotless, cleaning floors, fixtures and spillages, and support a safe, orderly environment throughout the shift.

You will report to the Warehouse Operations/Distribution & Recycling Department Shift Leader and benefit from ongoing training, holiday allowance and discount perks as part of Lidl's team-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Must have a keen eye and attention to detail.
• Experience in cleaning or maintenance is beneficial.
• Follow internal guidelines and standards.
• Be flexible and willing to handle individual tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Clean all warehouse areas, including floors and fixtures.
• Remove and dispose of waste packaging from the warehouse floor.
• Ensure hygiene and Health & Safety standards at all times.
• Keep fire exits clear of blockages and litter.
• Operate cleaning machinery as required.
• Maintain tidy conditions from loading bays to car parks.

You'll report to the Warehouse Operations/Distribution & Recycling Department Shift Leader. With a motivated team, you'll keep all areas of the warehouse clean and tidy - from the loading bays to the car parks.

What you'll do

• Cleaning all warehouse areas, including the floors, fixtures, fittings, and mopping up spillages
• Removing and disposing waste packaging from the warehouse floor to minimise trip hazards
• Ensuring 'clean as you go' stations are stocked e.g. tissue roll, hazard signs
• Clearing all fire exits of blockages and litter
• Emptying the recycling stations and moving them to the Recycling areas
• Confidently operate cleaning machinery
• Proactively make sure that hygiene and Health and Safety standards are met at all times

What you'll need

• Have a keen eye and attention to detail
• Experience in cleaning or maintenance (beneficial but not essential)
• Ensuring compliance with Corporate Code of Conduct and Principles
• Follow internal guidelines and standards
• Be flexible in your work and open to executing individual tasks (excluding picking) if necessary
