Job summary

Lidl in the United Kingdom is seeking a cleaner to help provide customers with a clean, welcoming in-store experience. You will help maintain hygiene, tidy spaces and operate cleaning equipment to support store standards.

This role offers a part-time 20-hour contract with AM shifts, plus benefits such as holiday allowance and retail discounts, designed to reward reliability and team effort.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or maintenance is desirable.
• Hands-on approach and ability to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly maintain the store to keep it looking its best.
• Keep trolley bays, car park and outside spaces clean and tidy.
• Confidently operate industrial cleaning machinery.
• Clean the welfare area, including toilets, waste and recycling sections.
• Carry out minor maintenance tasks when needed.
• Ensure hygiene and Health and Safety standards are upheld.
