Job summary

Eurocell PLC in Dewsbury is seeking a proactive Warehouse Assistant Manager to lead day-to-day warehouse operations at Alunet Systems, part of the Eurocell Group. The role reports to the Warehouse Manager and focuses on driving KPIs, safety and quality while delivering accurate, on-time customer orders.

The position offers a competitive salary of £30,000-£33,000 plus benefits and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a warehouse supervisory or management role.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, stock control and order fulfilment processes.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good numerical and reporting skills.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.
• Self-motivated, resilient and able to perform under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Support the management and delivery of warehouse operational KPIs, ensuring targets are achieved.
• Lead and motivate warehouse teams to deliver exceptional service, quality and productivity.
• Oversee picking, packing and dispatch operations to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure stock replenishment activities are completed to support efficient order fulfilment.
• Coordinate vehicle loading activities to ensure deliveries leave on time and are loaded correctly.
• Work closely with Quality Control teams to reduce product damage and improve overall quality standards.
• Coach, develop and upskill team members to maximise individual and team performance.
• Conduct regular one-to-ones, performance reviews and welfare meetings with direct reports.
• Champion Health & Safety standards, ensuring safe working practices are followed at all times.
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve efficiency and control operational costs.
