Job summary

Eurocell Group Ltd is seeking a proactive Warehouse Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day operation of our busy warehouse at Alunet Systems, Ravensthorpe, Dewesbury. You will report to the Warehouse Manager and lead warehouse teams to hit KPIs, ensure accurate order fulfilment, and maintain high safety standards.

The role suits an experienced supervisor who enjoys developing people and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in warehouse supervisory or management.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, stock control and order fulfilment processes.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good numerical and reporting skills; intermediate Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support KPI delivery and ensure targets are achieved.
• Lead warehouse teams to deliver service, quality and productivity.
• Oversee picking, packing and dispatch to fulfil orders accurately.
• Ensure stock replenishment to support order fulfilment.
• Coordinate vehicle loading to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Work with Quality Control to reduce damage and improve quality.
• Coach and develop team members; conduct welfare meetings.
• Champion health and safety standards.
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste and control costs.

HOURS: Rotational - Monday - Thursday / Tuesday - Friday 21:00 - 07:30
SALARY: £30,000 - £33,000 dependent on experience, plus benefits

We are currently recruiting for a proactive and hands-on Warehouse Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day operation of our busy warehouse and distribution function at Alunet Systems, part of the Eurocell Group of companies.

Reporting into the Warehouse Manager, you will play a key role in leading warehouse teams, driving operational performance, maintaining high standards of quality and safety, and ensuring customer orders are delivered accurately and on time.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional with supervisory or management experience who enjoys leading teams, developing people, and continuously improving processes.

WHAT OUR WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT MANAGERS DO:

• Support the management and delivery of warehouse operational KPIs, ensuring targets are achieved
• Lead and motivate warehouse teams to deliver exceptional service, quality and productivity
• Oversee picking, packing and dispatch operations to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently
• Ensure stock replenishment activities are completed to support efficient order fulfilment
• Coordinate vehicle loading activities to ensure deliveries leave on time and are loaded correctly
• Work closely with Quality Control teams to reduce product damage and improve overall quality standards
• Coach, develop and upskill team members to maximise individual and team performance
• Conduct regular one-to-ones, performance reviews and welfare meetings with direct reports
• Champion Health & Safety standards, ensuring safe working practices are followed at all times
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve efficiency and control operational costs
  

WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT MANAGERS:

• Minimum of 2 Years'experience in a warehouse supervisory or management role
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, stock control and order fulfilment processes
• Excellent leadership and people management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Good numerical and reporting skills
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word and Excel
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy
• Self-motivated, resilient and able to perform under pressure
